a Distant Christmas
a Distant Christmas
Beyond lockdown restrictions, confidence levels are down, according to surveys conducted by a handful of tabloids nearly 45% of consumers have second thoughts about going out for Christmas, be it at the local pub, a restaurant or a hotel. However, 24% of people who did visit a hospitality venue said they would visit again depending on how well their precautions are set out, which presents a great opportunity to both increase loyalty and insure returning customers. Therefore in order to make the most of this opportunity we have come up with some flexible solutions:
1. Branded PPE
As opposed to just handing out the standard blue masks, spending a few pence could increase your brand loyalty ten-fold in the long run. A neatly packed mask will significantly increase the confidence levels of your customers making them more inclined to returning. This is an especially effective strategy for hotels and bed & breakfasts, the small touches go a long way.
2. H Commerce
Furthermore, for hotels and B&B’s s a key revenue opportunity is increasing hospitality commerce or H-commerce, currently this usually revolves around snacks and beverages but could well be extended to branded merchandise such as bath salts, specialty tea’s, potpourris and cosmetic consumables.
A Pint or a Growler to go..
For many bars and pubs, spout pouches offer a versatile solution for their consumers allowing them to both consume direct from the spout as and when they feel like as opposed to being obliged to finish a cup. It also allows them to take away a larger volume reducing load on the bartenders, or place an order for home delivery using one the many food delivery apps, allowing your customers to enjoy the drafted experience from the comfort of their home.

An aftertaste pack
Give your customers a sample marinate pack to get them coming back for more... Or give them a new sauce to try out. You can then look to sell a bigger volume of it as a product in itself, or offer it exclusively at your restaurant!
Lastly, we have a small favour to ask..
For the hospitality sector, the Christmas & New Year period is the busiest time of the year, but given the circumstances, it may not be the same for many of them this year-round. With beverage being the most consumed item in this sector we ask you to be more open towards purchasing take away consumables from these vendors such as wine, beer, cocktails, snacks as you would on your normal night out! This will help many within this sector!
